Quarterly Report - December 2011

This year has been a pretty busy one. Along with Post elections at the Pleasanton Games for commander and replacement exec, we have been active in the Monterey Games and the return of the Dixon Games. We were again the official color guard at Pleasanton and lead “clan” for the marches at the other games.  We have been present at troop support/community service events as well as the unfortunate duty of funeral services including one of our beloved members, Terry Edinboro. I am proud of our Post Recruiting efforts. I’d like to welcome all of our new post members including the first Navy SEAL for our post. We also participated in 3 Veterans Day parades and 1 Christmas parade, teaming up with the Sacramento Caledonian Club. As this is my first submission as Post CO, I will keep this short and I wish you all Happy Holidays and a fruitful New Year.
